Lino Print Masterclass | CHERYL DAVISON
Under the theme - Because of Her, We Can! - NAIDOC Week 2018 will be held nationally from Sunday 8 July and continue through to Sunday 15 July.
To celebrate NAIDOC Week 2018, BVRG will hold a lino printing masterclass presented by printmaker and artist Cheryl Davison. Cheryl will take participants through all the stages of lino printing onto fabric, from choosing a design and cutting the lino, to printing onto fabric.

ABOUT THE TUTOR - CHERYL DAVISON
Davison has inherited deep cultural knowledge from her family and is a recognised artist and cultural leader for the South Coast region, exhibiting nationally and internationally. She is inspired by her South Coast culture, people and its history, and this is the basis of her art. She uses her art to tell stories and to educate people on the beauty of Aboriginal culture, particularly the South Coast and Monaro.
Cheryl’s art work is represented in the Australian National Gallery, Art Gallery of NSW, Wollongong City Gallery and many private collections.
