Mikey is an English/ Australian artist living and working in Bermagui NSW with his wife and daughter.
A self-taught artist, Mikey spent the first 14 years of adult life as a musician. He transitioned to painting in his early 30s and has been enamoured with the medium ever since. Applying what he learned through music, his work quickly progressed into abstraction, which gifted him the freedom to experiment. A true love of colour evolved and this now dominates the work he produces, be it abstract or representational. His work can be found in private collections across the country.
